TBR – June 2021

Hi guys! As promised in my post yesterday, here’s my TBR for this month coming. Hope you enjoy 🙂

I’m excited for the books I’ll be reading this month – several good books have been made available at the library, so I can finally get to them! Let’s get started, then (:

Rule of Wolves – Leigh Bardugo

Finally, I can get to this one! It’s started to collect a bit of dust, so I’m really happy that King of Scars finally came at the library. I hope I’ll enjoy this because my expectations have been raised a lot from how long I’ve been waiting.

More Happy Than Not – Adam Silvera

This one came just in time for pride month 😄

I’ve wanted to read some of Adam Silvera’s works for a really long time, so I’m happy I finally have the opportunity.

Witches Steeped In Gold – Ciannon Smart

This sounds like an AMAZING debut book, and the reviews I’ve seen sound great!

‘Divided by their order. United by their vengeance.’ That sounds FABULOUS, and I’m getting so excited just thinking about it! The premise of Witches Steeped In Gold sounds fantastic so I hope I enjoy it (:

Cinder – Marissa Meyer

Cinder has been on my TBR for quite a long time, and I’ve seen both good and bad reviews. I’m not sure how I’ll find it, but I’m hoping for the best 🙏

The Hate U Give – Angie Thomas

I haven’t seen a single bad review about this book, and almost all of my ‘most trusted’ blogs (the blogs that seem to have the most similar views on books as mine) have given this a 5-star rating. From what I’ve heard, it’s a really powerful novel that will stay with you for a long time – I hope I’ll like it 😊

Well, those are my five prioritised books for this month. I have high hopes for them all – particularly the ones higher up on my list – and I hope they all deliver! Have you read any of these books? If so, did you enjoy them? Are any of these on your TBR, or are you adding them? Feel free to say in the comments section!

My next post will be a review for Becky Albertalli’s The Upside of Unrequited, which I enjoyed a lot. Until that comes, enjoy the lovely weather and bye-bye! ☺️
